Made it to cosfest after all.And honestly when I woke up that morning, on June 25th Saturday.
I looked into the mirror and laughed pretty hard at my same self for crying the night before.
I think it was the pinch of defeat, the loom of all the tiredness rolled altogether and a sheer vortex of frustration for not being able to complete some of the details, on top of my Jihl's wig delay in it's arrival and everything that hung onto that thread snapped when I accidentally smudged some acrylic paint onto my
Jihl Nabbaat costume.
I thank dearly for
Kanasaiii &
Holydust who consoled me and also at that moment reminded me of what I had forgotten when I started this project in the first place.
What's the point of doing this and and tormenting yourself with such negative emotions when the very meaning of it is to have fun in the first place?

And all in all, other then the usual droning heat.. COSFEST WAS terrifically jaw locking, stomach tearing, nerve wrecking fun!
Plus the fact that we stayed in a row of chalets which were packed with familiar faces added to the craziness hung heavily in the air at every corner.
I had the pleasure of being interconnecting chalet room neighbours with
keruuu, gave me quite disturbing nightmares after a game of
Shoot, Shag, Marry Thank you very much for that DX LOL.
